Design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Not as a random interest, but as a natural thread running through every stage of my personal and professional development. Today, I stand behind the brands WOOD CRAFTERS and DOHAJAN.SK, but the journey began much earlier — at a time when I had no idea that design would one day become my profession.

Discovering Design at the Age of Twelve

At just 12 years old, I spent countless hours at the computer trying to understand how visual communication works. Completely self-taught, without courses or mentors, I learned to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator through experimentation, mistakes, and constant exploration. For me, design was never only about aesthetics — it was about logic, composition, and functionality.

Hand-Drawn Visualizations at Fifteen

Around the age of 15, I gained my first real practical experience. I created hand-drawn visualizations for construction companies that were renovating apartments and family houses. These were mainly layout concepts and simple interior perspectives. They were not perfect renders, but they had real value — they helped clients better understand space and make informed decisions.

This period made me realize that design has the power to influence real outcomes and significantly improve the quality of living.

The First Project: THE WOODO (2013)

In 2013, together with a friend, I founded my first serious project called THE WOODO. This marked the beginning of working with wood, furniture, and interior solutions. We learned everything hands-on — from design and production to client communication.

THE WOODO laid the foundation for how I perceive design today: as a complete process, from the first idea to the final product.

WOOD CRAFTERS – A Professional Step Forward (2019)

The year 2019 was a major milestone. We founded WOOD CRAFTERS, which operates as a fully established design and manufacturing company. We moved into new production facilities, invested in professional machinery, and built a team capable of delivering complex, custom-made interior solutions.

Our focus includes:

  • interior design,

  • custom furniture production,

  • precision craftsmanship,

  • functional and timeless design.

Every project is approached individually, with strong attention to detail, materials, and long-term value.

DOHAJAN.SK – Design Focused on Sleep (2025)

In 2025, we launched DOHAJAN.SK, an e-commerce platform dedicated to healthy and high-quality sleep. The portfolio includes:

  • mattresses,

  • beds,

  • seating furniture from our own production.

The philosophy remains the same — design must be functional, honest, and thoughtfully engineered. I consider sleep one of the most important aspects of life, and DOHAJAN was created to address this topic responsibly and comprehensively.

Design as a Way of Life

My entire life revolves around design. The internet and social media have helped us grow, reach wider audiences, and prove that high-quality work with international potential can emerge from Slovakia.

Today, my goal is to pass my experience further — into new projects, collaborations, and challenges. I continuously learn, follow trends, and at the same time stay true to craftsmanship and authentic work.

Ready for New Challenges

Every phase of my journey has shaped who I am today. Design is not just my work — it is my mindset.

I am ready for new challenges, new markets, and new opportunities — with respect for the past and a clear vision for the future.
